My
name is Kathryn (a.k.a. Kat) and I design/hand make crocheted designs for clothing and
accessories. Most of my designs are inspired by nature and wildlife. Initially,
I had a hole in my shirt and didn’t want to throw it away, so I designed a
crocheted chick (similar to the picture on the left) and sewed it on, thus giving me the idea for my clothing line. Katnip was established in fall 2010. Although my baby and kids' clothes are more popular sellers, my clothing is for everyone. Accessories that I sell include bags/purses, crocheted headbands, crocheted stuffed animals, and jewelry.
